Heaven's Angels and Ministering Comforter

Heaven’s Angels

Ministering Comforter (God)

Comforter is Holy Spirit is God’s active presence on Earth.
God the Father, God the Son Jesus, & the Holy Spirit.

Heaven’s Angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, And ten thousand times ten thousand. meaning countless.

These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

Jesus Already Won the Victory

Jesus already won—the victory is sealed through the Lamb of God. So Satan’s “race” is nothing but a pointless loop: you run and run in circles, thinking you’re almost at the end, only to see another sign saying “almost there.” It keeps you chasing, distracted, trapped in the same old exhausting cycle of lies, sin, and death. The wage of that race is death (Romans 6:23).

But in Christ, we’re freed from slavery to sin and step into a different path—one that’s calmer, kinder, more loving. We’re now enslaved to righteousness, walking in peace instead of panic. With God, everything is calm; everything is kind. You don’t yell your way out of arguments—you don’t even have them. You gently point out wrongs (including your own), seeking to help everyone involved do better, because love is the greatest thing there is. Nothing beats being kind and loving.

Those Little Voices and Silly Distractions

Satan throws little voices into your head to get you worked up over silly things. Like when I was shopping on Amazon and saw my “I love Jesus” cup. I thought about buying headphones and a mic instead, and suddenly a voice says, “Well, you don’t need the cup.” But hold on—that voice isn’t me. First off, I don’t need any of it, but out of everything, the one thing I want most is that Jesus cup. I won’t even consider letting it go. These little voices get so used to tripping us up on trivial stuff that they expect us to fall for anything. But I fall for nothing anymore.

Think about it: Does panic, worry, yelling, or anger ever give you extra strength or fix anything? No—it just blocks the road, hinders what you truly want with God. Arguments don’t improve situations; they make them worse. Love, on the other hand, wins every time.

Love Everyone—That’s the Win

One of my favorite parts of the Bible is when Jesus talks about people who did good for Him—when He was hungry, they fed Him; when thirsty, they gave drink; when a stranger, they welcomed Him; when naked, clothed Him; when sick or in prison, visited Him (Matthew 25:35-40). He says whatever you do for the least of these—anyone hungry, hurting, in need—you do for Him. And the flip side: if you don’t, it’s as if you didn’t do it for Him.

That’s why thinking anyone is worth more or less than another is a huge error. Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39; Mark 12:31). Never let someone go hungry because they’re another temple of God—made in God’s image, just like you. Love everyone that way. Feed the hungry, help the needy, see Christ in every person. That’s the win.

The race between good and bad, happy and sad—it’s over. Jesus, the Lamb of God, already won that race for all of us. Stay out of Satan’s loops, ignore the distracting voices, fix your eyes on the calm, loving path with Him. Let kindness and love lead, and the good fruit will show. The victory is ours win our winning choice in Jesus. Amen. Amen.

Heaven’s Angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, And ten thousand times ten thousand. meaning countless.

Yes, “thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand” (or myriads of myriads) is biblical language, primarily from Revelation 5:11 and Daniel 7:10, used to describe an innumerable, vast, and countless multitude of angels, emphasizing their immense numbers and divine presence rather than a precise numerical count. These phrases, using “thousands” (chiliads) and “ten thousands” (myriads), represent an overwhelming, unquantifiable assembly surrounding God’s throne, highlighting the limitless nature of the heavenly host.

Revelation 5:11
Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

Daniel 7:10
A river of fire was flowing,
coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
and the books were opened.

Psalm 68:17
The chariots of God are tens of thousands
and thousands of thousands;
the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.

Hyperbole for Immensity: The repeated use of large numbers (like 10,000 x 10,000 = 100,000,000) is a literary device, signifying “countless” or “infinite” rather than an exact figure.

Glorifying God: This imagery underscores the power and glory of God, showing an immense, ever-present spiritual army at His service.

Heavenly Assembly: It describes the awe-inspiring scene of divine beings gathered in worship and attendance around God’s throne.

Revelation 5

The Scroll and the Lamb

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.

And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”

The four living creatures said, “Amen,”

Revelation 6

The Seals

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

Revelation 7

144,000 Sealed

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.

The Great Multitude in White Robes

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”

All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:

“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”

Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

I leave peace with you; I give *my* peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear.

Psalm 91:11-13. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

Revelation 1:5
and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

John 14:25-27
These things I have said to you, abiding with you;
but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, *he* shall teach you all things, and will bring to your remembrance all the things which I have said to you.
I leave peace with you; I give *my* peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
