The Lord is my shepherd

Satan’s Lies & Sin Lead to Death
Sin Farmer & Burnt Carrots of Hell

Exit to Good Grazing & Love

The Lord is my Shepherd

On a planet the rabbits called Sinful Carrot Farm, Satan the farmer dangled one bright big, shiny carrot just out of reach.

“Run for it,” he grinned with devilish delight. “That’s the golden prince of all carrots—the life-changing one. Bigger, sweeter, worth everything. Only you deserve it.”

So I ran. Legs burning, years blurring. I thought I was better than all, destined to win that tasty prize, the winner’s dinner.

I blew past fields stuffed with other real, juicy carrots—free, crunchy, right there close by. But they weren’t good enough for me. Spirits of sin wouldn’t let go, so I ignored the sun, ignored the fun, ran thirsty past clear streams. Friends yelled, “Hey, eat here! Rest here!” Nope. Had to catch that bright big, shiny carrot just out of reach.

Decades later, tired and sick of the tries and all of the lies—ticks ticked past, nothing good lasted, all life had passed—I collapsed.

The bright big, shiny carrot dissolved like imagination and deception, a race in a loop.

In the quiet, through the pain, a lesson revealed, a gain. I found love in it all, no longer a fall. I surrendered to God, the Farmer above.

Then I stood on soft earth. Endless rows of beautiful carrots all around me. Always had been.

I laughed—hard, joys abound, healing laughs all around.

All that sprinting for a ghost prize of deceits and lies, missing life’s real prize.

That race in a loop was only just poop, and all those burnt carrots waiting in hell for anyone dumb enough to believe Satan, the sinful father-farmer of lies.

I laid down in love and carrots from above, in the good field, safe with the Good Shepherd Jesus. Closed my eyes in trust, slept in safe, kind ways—to wake only to graze in the loving days.

Bright sun, blue sky. Paradise I’d been fleeing my whole life was now with me.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 1:29-31
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.

Mark 7:21-22
For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 6:16-19
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.2 Timothy 1
New International Version
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,

To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thanksgiving
I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

Appeal for Loyalty to Paul and the Gospel
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.

What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

Satan primarily uses deception, doubt, pride, and temptation to turn people away from God, aiming to destroy faith and foster disobedience. Common, “socially acceptable” sins like gossip, unforgiveness, and selfishness are key tactics. He also manipulates through distractions, fear, and often half-truths.

Here are the primary sins and strategies Satan uses in all areas of life:

Lies and Deception: Satan is the “father of lies,” using them to distort truths about God and self. He convinces people that God is not loving, that sin has no consequences (“You will not surely die”), or that they are not good enough.

Doubt and Unbelief: He fosters doubt regarding God’s Word, existence, and love.

Pride and Self-Sufficiency: Encouraging individuals to rely on themselves rather than God, leading to arrogance or thinking oneself better than others.

Unforgiveness and Bitterness: Holding onto grudges and anger creates an opportunity for demonic influence and separates believers from God’s grace.

Distraction and Materialism: Prioritizing temporary, worldly, or material things over spiritual growth and God.

Accusation and Shame: After tempting someone into sin, Satan accuses them to cause shame and despair, causing them to doubt God’s forgiveness.

Isolation and Division: Dividing the church and isolating individuals to weaken their faith.

“Socially Acceptable” Sins: Using minor sins like gossip, lying, and lack of spiritual leadership to destroy testimonies.

To counter these, scripture emphasizes using the “armor of God” (truth, faith, word of God) and focusing on the finished work of Jesus.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Revelation 12:9
The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Revelation 21:8
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

1 Corinthians 10:20-21
No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

Revelation 12:17
Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

Satan the Sin Farmer

In the shadowed corridors of human history, where ancient sorceries once whispered through smoke and incantations, a subtler enchantment now unfolds across glowing screens and viral feeds. The sorcery and magic of the eras when the Bible was written may have traded clay tablets and ritual fires for algorithms, clickbait thumbnails, and cinematic spectacles, but the underlying story endures without alteration: it is false, deceitful, dishonest, and rooted in lies. He who orchestrates it—the adversary described in Scripture as “a murderer from the beginning” and “the father of lies” (John 8:44)—has never changed his formula. False prophets, once exposed through witchcraft, necromancy, and consulting the dead, now proliferate in new guises, yet their fruit remains the same: manipulation, doubt, and spiritual harm rather than genuine edification.

Scripture repeatedly condemns these practices as abominations to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 lists sorcery, witchcraft, interpreting omens, and necromancy; see also Galatians 5:19-20, Revelation 21:8, and 22:15). False prophets are warned against in passages like Matthew 7:15 (“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves”), 2 Peter 2, and 1 John 4:1 (“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God”). Satan is portrayed as the deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9), the one who runs its systems until Christ’s return, using every available tool—ancient or modern—to pervert truth.

On Hollywood: Multiple sources in esoteric, Christian, and cultural discussions note that the name derives from the holly tree (or “holly wood”), a plant sacred to ancient Druids and traditionally used to craft magic wands in folklore—examples include Merlin’s wand in Arthurian legend and even Harry Potter’s holly wand. Symbolic links to “casting spells” through film and entertainment resonates widely in analyses of media influence. Christian commentaries frequently describe Hollywood as notorious for normalizing occult themes, desensitizing audiences to darkness, and functioning as a modern vehicle for the same deceptive forces once tied to literal sorcery.

On modern platforms like YouTube: Searches reveal a surge of Christian teachings and exposés (titles such as “8 Dangerous Tactics False Prophets Use,” “How to Discern False Prophets & Teachers,” and “False Prophets on YouTube: Discernment with the Holy Spirit”) that echo my research and insights exact concerns. Creators are often critiqued for prioritizing audience growth, superchats, donations, and sensational titles over biblical accuracy—tactics including emotional hype, fear-mongering, “pay for prophecy” appeals, and claims of exclusive revelation. Many warn of an “antichrist spirit” (1 John 4:1-3) that does not deny Jesus outright but undermines His finished work, fosters dependence on the “prophet” instead of the Holy Spirit, or plants doubt rather than peace. The consensus in these discernment-focused videos and articles is that the vast majority may be sincere but undiscerning “fools” who haven’t tested the spirits, verified against Scripture, or recognized Jesus as the Reincarnated Son of God—exactly as described. True guidance from the Holy Spirit convicts, comforts, and points to Christ without harm or confusion (John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 14:33).

Tarot cards, Ouija boards, and other occult tools remain classic entry points, now amplified by online “spiritual” content that blurs lines between entertainment and prophecy. The formula of evil—Satan using “everyone and everything”—persists because the deceiver adapts his methods while the intent (to steal, kill, and destroy; John 10:10) stays constant.

I have remained silent and calm, yet my observations and insights hold true across these sources: technologies have advanced, but discernment remains the antidote. Test everything against the Word, listen for the Spirit’s genuine peace rather than manufactured drama, and remember that the one who was a liar and murderer from the beginning has not suddenly become trustworthy. What is the outcome? In most cases, the message lacks clarity about its true intent. Good people do not tell stories to hurt others—they tell them to help people heal. The more I observe what is happening on YouTube, the more convinced I become that it is not a healthy place for therapy or for spiritualists claiming to offer insights and truths from the Spirit of God—insights that can instead be harmful, hurtful, and untrue. The story is always the same—until the true King Jesus returns and every false light is extinguished.

Romans 6
Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Slaves to Righteousness
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 11
The Remnant of Israel
I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”? And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, as it is written:
“God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”

And David says:
“May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them. May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.”

Ingrafted Branches
Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!

I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

All Israel Will Be Saved
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Doxology
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?”

“Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?”

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Joel 2:25
I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—
the great locust and the young locust,
the other locusts and the locust swarm—
my great army that I sent among you.

Amos 9:13
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,

“when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman
and the planter by the one treading grapes.
New wine will drip from the mountains
and flow from all the hills,
