Love Songs & Flower Power

John 18:11
“Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

To choose Love is to see beauty in the fields and to hear love songs sung through the wind and creation itself. Truth, Love, and the Light — these are the essence of Jesus, the Son of God.

In the Bible, “fearing God” does not mean living in terror, but walking in reverence, awe, and deep respect for His holiness and power. It is the foundation of wisdom and knowledge — a call to obedience, trust, and service. To fear God is to honor Him above all, not to fear human authorities who can only harm the body.

The Cup of God and the Strength of Surrender

Many forget that God is not only Love and Perfection — He is Love, Truth, and Perfection, unchanging and complete. Genesis 1 shows His perfect creation, and in John 18:11, Jesus commanded Peter:
“Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

This verse reminds me that the “cup” represents acceptance of what must be endured. Through pain, sin, and lies, I’ve learned that God’s plan is already written. My suffering became part of that divine cup — a lesson and a gift from God and Jesus, shaping me beyond the flesh, in Mind, Heart, and Soul. My strength is in surrendering to Jesus, trusting His ways, and walking in faith.

Love, Flowers, and Faith in the Dark

Even in my most painful and traumatic times in 2023 — when I prayed hundreds of times a day for safety — God was my only refuge. I prayed in elevators, baptized myself in a bathtub, and searched for truth even within lies. And every time, I found light hidden inside the darkness.

From those moments, the Mustard Seed of God’s Word germinated within me. Now I see that pain and struggle are branches on the Vine of Jesus. Many others, trapped in the same fields of deception and suffering, can also grow from their pain into fields of flowers — yielding the true power of Love.

Make Love, Not War — The Jesus Movement & Flower Power

This message echoes the cultural and spiritual awakening of the Jesus Movement in the late 1960s and 1970s. “Flower Power,” once the slogan of the hippie era, became infused with the Spirit of Christ when young people embraced Jesus as the true source of peace and love.

Satan twisted love into lust — turning divine unity into carnal desire — but true love is sacred, not sexual. Sex is only what people in love do to share joy and bring life into the world. Real love is spiritual, creative, and life-giving; it plants seeds that bloom into beauty, compassion, and truth.

Overgrow the Corrupt System

From my old website FoodIndependence.co:

Overgrow the Corrupt System
Fight corruption not with force, but by outgrowing it.
Plant more flowers instead of pulling weeds.
Expose lies by telling the truth.
Let the rotten fruit fall on its own.
Starve the system by denying it your labor and income.
Grow food, grow freedom, grow love.

Imagine a nation where no child goes hungry. Over one million Canadian children — one in six — face hunger every year. Hunger crushes learning, spirit, and hope. But we can change that by transforming neglected land into gardens and food forests.

Be food independent. Be a Gardening Spirit.
Reclaim your neighborhood by planting community gardens in front yards, around schools, and in abandoned lots. Plants want to grow. When we come together — sharing tools, meals, and compost — we create beauty, safety, and connection.

No more hungry children. No more wasted soil. Together, we can grow fresh, healthy, organic food and rebuild our communities with love and faith.

Genesis 1:27 reminds us that we are created in God’s image — with creativity, reflection, and purpose. We are co-creators with God. So live, love, and lead by example.

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
Sow the seeds of love — and watch the world bloom.

The Lie Test, Growth, and Fields of Flowers

To see through deception, ask yourself:
What’s the point? What’s the purpose?
Is it to heal or harm?
Is it selfless or selfish?
Is it born of love or darkness?

If your growth comes at the expense of others, it isn’t growth — it’s theft. Satan’s tricks are always meant to harm. True growth comes only from love and truth. When truth is used to heal, it is divine; when used to hurt, it’s corrupted.

I’ve kept many truths to myself, not out of fear, but because I’m not here to hurt anyone. Every day, dark forces try to provoke pain — but I refuse. Instead, I fertilize, water, love, and grow in the Light of Jesus. Even in fields of filth, flowers can bloom.

Love wins.

From Food Independence to Fields of Light

My history is open for all to see — archives show I’ve always sought to love, uplift, and give. From community gardens to teaching self-reliance, I’ve sown seeds of kindness and growth.

See truth for yourself:

But Satan runs this world; he hates what is free, loving, and kind. He wants suffering. Jesus, however, brings peace and joy — the field of flowers where love replaces fear.

When you walk into that field, you’ll find:

  • Good grazing

  • Love

  • Kindness

  • Freedom from fear

Shaking off fear alone is powerful. The world’s fields may seem dark and dangerous, but with God’s light, they bloom with color and hope.

The Flower and the Song

A long time ago, I ran a small community group on facebook called Food Independence. The message was simple:
You can overgrow corruption by planting more seeds of love and truth.

I used to tell my daughter:

Some people can walk through a field of flowers and only see the one bit of dirt.
But others can walk through a field of dirt and still see the flowers.

It’s all about focus. Darkness and Satan want you focused on fear, guilt, and negativity — that’s how control works. But God calls you to focus on the flower, on joy, love, and light.

There is no fear in love. Scripture tells us to “fear God,” but that fear is reverence — not terror. For sinners and those trapped in darkness, fear means judgment; but for believers, it is awe and surrender. The wage of sin is death, but through Jesus Christ comes eternal life and love with God.

The earth may be Satan’s field, full of lies and traps — but the Light of God, through Jesus, shines upon it. There is one flower for all to see — eternal and radiant — the love of God.

That’s the message I want to share today:
The winning flower is the winning love song — and it’s playing in every song there is.

Love Wins & God is Love.
