Have You Ever Seen The Rain?

For just like the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. For in those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. And they knew nothing until the flood came and took them all away. It will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man.

Spiritual circumcision is a matter of the heart

Love Wins & Jesus is Love

Jesus King of Kings and Lord of Lords
and King of Jews

Jesus is also Truth that will set you Free

Revelation 17:14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

Being reborn into Jesus means being reborn into the Spirit of Jesus, so technically I am a spiritual Jew and a seed of Abraham. Based on the writings of the Apostle Paul, followers of Jesus are considered spiritually adopted into the family of God. In Jesus, I am also a child of God.

The role of dark spirits or demonic influence in the plot to kill Jesus is seen in the New Testament. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12).

Nuts? Crazy? Yes in a world run by Satan and Sin and Death. I find most of what to be sad is what I’m discovering is not only true, the bigger question is why it’s hidden from everyone. Well its easy to see the Deceiver of the Worlds like all the liars is also a coward. He blinds the minds, the false light disguised as an angel presenting evils and appealing and harmless rather than the monstrous evil.

Scripture describes the “spirit of sin” as an internal, corrupting force arising from the human heart (Mark 7:21-23). It acts as a rebellious, deceitful, and sinful nature within people, separating them from God (Psalm 36:2; Romans 7). The Bible teaches that this inherent sinful nature, often called the “flesh,” must be overcome by the Holy Spirit.

I’ve been attacked by people that I’ve always been kind to and loving with. The only thing that caused them to attack me was me posting Scripture given by Jesus. As much as they were upset, all I did was respond back with more truth and love. One of the bigger questions was, “How come you ignored the part about you being friends with people that committed murders? That are making Snuff and Child Porn” The weird thing is, this is again the part they still ignored. I will never say anything that I cannot prove. I don’t lie, and I never will lie.

I guess it’s not what is missing from the Bible—it’s what people are missing from the Bible—because there’s nothing that I’m saying that isn’t put together from the words of the Bible. Yes, there’s many words between the lines, such as something that upset me for many years: knowing that there are people being misled to think that the country Israel is what is spoken of in the Bible, when in fact it’s the descendants of Jacob, who was renamed Israel. Many other things are misinterpreted.

I guess I will start also by saying I love everyone. I certainly love the Jews, and I enjoy saying I love the King of the Jews. I also know that love wins, and Jesus is love. I seek the truth, for the truth will set me free—it will also set you free from the enslavement of sin.

What I’ve seen and noticed is that, while much of what is written in Scripture has unfolded and changed over time, the tricks, tactics, and lies of Satan have remained exactly the same. In the days of stone tablets and handwritten scrolls, the same deceptive messages were planted in people’s minds. Today they come through screens, movies, television, and social media, yet the lines are identical. These spirits continue to mislead, lie, and whisper dark thoughts into hearts—just as they did then, so they do now.

This realization made me reflect deeply: if people were being deceived in biblical times, they are being deceived in exactly the same way today.

I just noticed the similarities between the fact that there seems to be some hostility from the Jewish church’s institutionalized parts—with the priests—and I thought to myself, this is the kind of spiritual insanity that is attaching itself to people. So I searched for Scripture that showed the same distasteful, strange behavior, and I found it. But as I said, this is the same behavior amongst all the institutionalized religions. They seem to have a vested interest in keeping each religion divided from the other, whereas everyone being kind and loving is what the people would have more interest in.

It’s similar with the way governments run each other—it’s like the opposition is never rooted in being a fight against their enslavement; rather, it’s fighting the other slaves.

A kakistocracy is defined as a system of government that is led by the worst, most unqualified, or most unprincipled. Because again, the world is run by Satan, so he is not putting the best, most loving, and good in positions of power. Now he wants the fights.

Whereas I can talk to just about any person and we can all agree on this: God wants us to be loving and kind. So if that’s the base foundation, most everyone is going to be in agreement. But the institutionalized religions don’t point to where we all agree—they point only to where we do not agree. And that seems to be attached to their interests, which are not based in love; they’re based in power, and that’s a power based on corruption, based on sin, based on lies.

I found myself wondering: is it possible they simply don’t realize that the voices they believe are their own are actually the dark spirits of the antichrist working through them? The enslavement to sin from their heart. The Unholy Trinity is characterized as a demonic, deceptive imitation of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), designed to twist truth, manipulate humanity, and promote sinful and anti-God agendas.

Israel is not originally a country, but the name given by God to the patriarch Jacob (grandson of Abraham) after he wrestled with an angel (Genesis 32:28). The term “Israel” or “Children of Israel” (Israelites) refers to the descendants of Jacob’s twelve sons, who formed the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The name Israel is generally interpreted as “one who strives/struggles with God” or “Prince of God”. While the modern State of Israel (founded in 1948) adopted the name, in the biblical context, Israel refers primarily to a covenantal people, a tribe, or a kingdom, rather than a modern nation-state. The Bible describes the descendants of Jacob as a chosen people, and the promise of land was given to them by God. “Israel” in the Bible often refers to the people collectively, rather than a piece of land. However, the Bible also uses “the land of Israel” to describe the geographical area promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Love Wins and God is Love.

I have seen other writings of seeing light in light, and what is interesting to me is that Satan has been walking and imitating many of the good things of God and inverting them, like the dark spirits and so forth. I have been shown a place with what seemed like endless dragons swirling around a line that went on forever. It seemed horizontal, but I would say it was definitely a horizontal bottomless pit. It was black within black, and you could see it—there was no light of God, just blackness.

Psalm 36:9
For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.

Satan as “angel of light” imitator 2 Corinthians 11:14
The dragon as Satan Revelation 12:9; 20:2
The bottomless pit/abyss as a place of demonic confinement and darkness
Revelation 9:1–11; 20:1–3

This is interesting because the lyrics of a song that Neil Diamond wrote—”I Am… I Said”—have so much meaning. The song was out same year I was born in 1971. The lyrics remind me of many stories “I AM” is also a reference to God, but Jesus is the King. In another Scripture, there are anti-Christ spirits that look like frogs, and frogs also represent a humble beginning—like the frog who dreamed of being a king and then became one. In my story, I kissed a frog—it almost murdered me—then I found the King Jesus, and His love saved me. I too became a king, and there are a lot of similarities in the story. But out of all the good and bad stories, I can always find one of truth and love. In every song I will find a love song.

Neil’s song “I Am… I Said” lyrics (relevant part):
Did you ever read about a frog
Who dreamed of bein’ a king
And then became one?
Well, except for the names
And a few other changes
If you talk about me
The story’s the same one

Revelation 16:13-14
Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

1. The Dragon (Satan): Identified as the “ancient serpent” or devil, who acts as the “anti-God,” instigating rebellion and deceiving the world.

2. The Beast from the Sea (Antichrist): Interpreted as a political/worldly ruler, representing “anti-Christ” power that demands worship and persecutes believers.

3. The Beast from the Earth (False Prophet): Representing “anti-Spirit” or deceptive religious authority, this entity works signs and miracles to mislead people into worshipping the Beast.

The Dragon/Satan spirits whispering in the ears of the plotters—they explicitly identify spiritual, demonic, and Satanic influences driving the actions of Judas Iscariot and the religious leaders.

Genesis 32:22-32
Jacob Wrestles With God

That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”

But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

The man asked him, “What is your name?”

“Jacob,” he answered.

Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”

Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”

But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.

So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”

The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip. Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob’s hip was touched near the tendon.

John 15:4-5
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Jeremiah 4:4
Circumcise yourselves to the Lord,
circumcise your hearts,
you people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem,
or my wrath will flare up and burn like fire
because of the evil you have done—
burn with no one to quench it.

Romans 2:28-29
A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.

AGAIN to my point WHO is against this? This passage is part of Paul’s argument to the Roman church that both Jews and Gentiles need salvation by grace through faith in Jesus, as outward adherence to the law cannot justify a person. It highlights that a “true Jew” is one who has a changed heart, which can apply to anyone—Jew or Gentile—who trusts in Jesus Christ.

John 8:31-32
Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Jewish Leaders: Pharisees, Scribes, Sadducees, Chief Priests, etc.

Mark 3:6
The Pharisees Plot to Kill Jesus

Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

Matthew 12:14
The Pharisees Plot to Kill Jesus

But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.

Luke 11:53-54
The Pharisees and Teachers of the Law Oppose Jesus Fiercely

When Jesus went outside, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to besiege him with questions, waiting to catch him in something he might say.

Matthew 26:3-4
The Chief Priests and Elders Plot Against Jesus

Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, and they schemed to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.

John 11:47-53
Plot to Kill Jesus

Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. “What are we accomplishing?” they asked. “Here is this man performing many signs. If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our temple and our nation.” Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, “You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.” He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one. So from that day on they plotted to take his life.

Mark 14:1
The Chief Priests and Teachers of the Law Scheme to Arrest Jesus

Now the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread were only two days away, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were scheming to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.

John 5:16-18
The Jewish Leaders Seek to Kill Jesus

So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

Matthew 27:1
The Chief Priests and Elders Plan Jesus’ Execution

Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people made their plans how to have Jesus executed.

Mark 14:55-64
The Chief Priests and Sanhedrin Seek False Testimony

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find any. Many testified falsely against him, but their statements did not agree. Then some stood up and gave this false testimony against him: “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with human hands and in three days will build another, not made by human hands.’” Yet even then their testimony did not agree. Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?” They all condemned him as worthy of death.

Romans (Pilate, Herod, Roman Authorities/Soldiers)

Luke 23:1-5
The Whole Assembly Accuses Jesus Before Pilate

Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate. And they began to accuse him, saying, “We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Messiah, a king.” So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied. Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.” But they insisted, “He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

Luke 23:6-12
Herod Mocks Jesus

On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean. When he learned that Jesus was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time. When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform a sign of some sort. He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer. The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there, vehemently accusing him. Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate. That day Herod and Pilate became friends—before this they had been enemies.

John 19:12
The Jewish Leaders Pressure Pilate

From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.”

Matthew 27:24-26
Pilate Washes His Hands and Delivers Jesus to Be Crucified

When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!” Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

Mark 15:15
Pilate Releases Barabbas and Hands Jesus Over

Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

John 19:16
Pilate Hands Jesus Over to Be Crucified

Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus.

Mark 15:16-20
The Soldiers Mock Jesus

The soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called together the whole company of soldiers. They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him. And they began to call out to him, “Hail, king of the Jews!” Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.

Mark 7:21-23
For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Deuteronomy 10:16
Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.Galatians 6
Doing Good to All

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Not Circumcision but the New Creation
See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand! Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.

From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.

Matthew 6:5-8
Prayer

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.Psalm 36
For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord.

I have a message from God in my heart
concerning the sinfulness of the wicked:
There is no fear of God
before their eyes.
In their own eyes they flatter themselves
too much to detect or hate their sin.
The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful;
they fail to act wisely or do good.
Even on their beds they plot evil;
they commit themselves to a sinful course
and do not reject what is wrong.

Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.
For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.

Continue your love to those who know you,
your righteousness to the upright in heart.
May the foot of the proud not come against me,
nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
See how the evildoers lie fallen—
thrown down, not able to rise!

Isaiah 65
Judgment and Salvation

“I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’
All day long I have held out my hands
to an obstinate people,
who walk in ways not good,
pursuing their own imaginations—
a people who continually provoke me
to my very face,
offering sacrifices in gardens
and burning incense on altars of brick;
who sit among the graves
and spend their nights keeping secret vigil;
who eat the flesh of pigs,
and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;
who say, ‘Keep away; don’t come near me,
for I am too sacred for you!’
Such people are smoke in my nostrils,
a fire that keeps burning all day.

“See, it stands written before me:
I will not keep silent but will pay back in full;
I will pay it back into their laps—
both your sins and the sins of your ancestors,”
says the Lord.
“Because they burned sacrifices on the mountains
and defied me on the hills,
I will measure into their laps
the full payment for their former deeds.”

This is what the Lord says:
“As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes
and people say, ‘Don’t destroy it,
there is still a blessing in it,’
so will I do in behalf of my servants;
I will not destroy them all.
I will bring forth descendants from Jacob,
and from Judah those who will possess my mountains;
my chosen people will inherit them,
and there will my servants live.
Sharon will become a pasture for flocks,
and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds,
for my people who seek me.

“But as for you who forsake the Lord
and forget my holy mountain,
who spread a table for Fortune
and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny,
I will destine you for the sword,
and all of you will fall in the slaughter;
for I called but you did not answer,
I spoke but you did not listen.
You did evil in my sight
and chose what displeases me.”

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“My servants will eat,
but you will go hungry;
my servants will drink,
but you will go thirsty;
my servants will rejoice,
but you will be put to shame.
My servants will sing
out of the joy of their hearts,
but you will cry out
from anguish of heart
and wail in brokenness of spirit.
You will leave your name
for my chosen ones to use in their curses;
the Sovereign Lord will put you to death,
but to his servants he will give another name.
Whoever invokes a blessing in the land
will do so by the one true God;
whoever takes an oath in the land
will swear by the one true God.
For the past troubles will be forgotten
and hidden from my eyes.

New Heavens and a New Earth
“See, I will create
new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered,
nor will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever
in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight
and its people a joy.
I will rejoice over Jerusalem
and take delight in my people;
the sound of weeping and of crying
will be heard in it no more.

“Never again will there be in it
an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not live out his years;
the one who dies at a hundred
will be thought a mere child;
the one who fails to reach a hundred
will be considered accursed.
They will build houses and dwell in them;
they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
No longer will they build houses and others live in them,
or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree,
so will be the days of my people;
my chosen ones will long enjoy
the work of their hands.
They will not labor in vain,
nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be a people blessed by the Lord,
they and their descendants with them.
Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear.
The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
and dust will be the serpent’s food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,”
says the Lord.

Romans 2
God’s Righteous Judgment

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

The Jews and the Law
Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God; if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”

Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised. So then, if those who are not circumcised keep the law’s requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised? The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.

A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.

Jeremiah 17
“Judah’s sin is engraved with an iron tool,
inscribed with a flint point,
on the tablets of their hearts
and on the horns of their altars.
Even their children remember
their altars and Asherah poles
beside the spreading trees
and on the high hills.
My mountain in the land
and your wealth and all your treasures
I will give away as plunder,
together with your high places,
because of sin throughout your country.
Through your own fault you will lose
the inheritance I gave you.
I will enslave you to your enemies
in a land you do not know,
for you have kindled my anger,
and it will burn forever.”

This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
in a salt land where no one lives.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?
“I the Lord search the heart
and examine the mind,
to reward each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”
Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay
are those who gain riches by unjust means.
When their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them,
and in the end they will prove to be fools.
A glorious throne, exalted from the beginning,
is the place of our sanctuary.
Lord, you are the hope of Israel;
all who forsake you will be put to shame.
Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust
because they have forsaken the Lord,
the spring of living water.
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise.

They keep saying to me,
“Where is the word of the Lord?
Let it now be fulfilled!”
I have not run away from being your shepherd;
you know I have not desired the day of despair.
What passes my lips is open before you.
Do not be a terror to me;
you are my refuge in the day of disaster.
Let my persecutors be put to shame,
but keep me from shame;
let them be terrified,
but keep me from terror.
Bring on them the day of disaster;
destroy them with double destruction.

Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and stand at the Gate of the People, through which the kings of Judah go in and out; stand also at all the other gates of Jerusalem. Say to them, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and all people of Judah and everyone living in Jerusalem who come through these gates. This is what the Lord says: Be careful not to carry a load on the Sabbath day or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem. Do not bring a load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors. Yet they did not listen or pay attention; they were stiff-necked and would not listen or respond to discipline. But if you are careful to obey me, declares the Lord, and bring no load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy by not doing any work on it, then kings who sit on David’s throne will come through the gates of this city with their officials. They and their officials will come riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by the men of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever. People will come from the towns of Judah and the villages around Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin and the western foothills, from the hill country and the Negev, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and incense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the Lord. But if you do not obey me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses.’”

Matthew 27:45-54
The Death of Jesus

From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.” Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

Even this line here that says let the dead bury their own dead. What it is to mean is that all in sin are walking dead yes let the dead bury the dead.Matthew 8:18-34
The Cost of Following Jesus

When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Jesus Calms the Storm
Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

Jesus Restores Two Demon-Possessed Men
When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?” Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

I always have an interesting story with being a sailor, with my copilot Jesus and the Holy Spirit like the wind. This whole song sounds like it was written for me to sing. I truly can find a love song in every single song I listen to—I wouldn’t know where to stop sharing songs I love. Stories bring so much joy and, so interestingly, the most tears.

Lyrics
Well, it’s not far down to paradise
At least it’s not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
And find tranquility
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me
It’s not far to never never land
No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy
Of innocence again
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me
Sailing
Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
Soon I will be free
Fantasy
It gets the best of me
When I’m sailing
All caught up in the reverie
Every word is a symphony
Won’t you believe me?
Sailing
Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
Soon I will be free
Well, it’s not far back to sanity
At least it’s not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
And find serenity
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Can’t you, believe me?
Sailing
Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free

Lost in Love

I realize the best part of love is the thinnest slice
And it don’t count for much
But I’m not letting go
I believe there’s still much to believe in
So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I’ll show you a plan
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me
You know you can’t fool me
I’ve been loving you too long
It started so easy
You want to carry on (carry on)
Lost in love and I don’t know much
Was I thinking aloud and fell out of touch?
But I’m back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted
So lift your eyes if you feel you can (feel you can)
Reach for a star and I’ll show you a plan (show you a plan)
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me (oh, oh-oh)
You know you can’t fool me
I’ve been loving you too long (I’ve been loving you too long)
It started so easy
You want to carry on (carry on)
Lost in love and I don’t know much
Was I thinking aloud and fell out of touch?
But I’m back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted
You know you can’t fool me
I’ve been loving you too long
It started so easy
You want to carry on (on, carry on)
Lost in love and I don’t know much
Was I thinking aloud and fell out of touch?
But I’m back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted
Now I’m lost (lost in love and I don’t know much)
Lost in love (was thinking aloud and fell out of touch)
Lost in love (but I’m back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted)
Lost in love
Now I’m lost (lost in love and I don’t know much)
I’m lost in love (was thinking aloud and fell out of touch)
I’m lost in love (but I’m back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted)
Lost in love

Psalm 103
Of David.

Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.

The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.

The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
Praise the Lord, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
Praise the Lord, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
