JESUS, Love & Light to Eternal Life & God

Jesus, Love & Light
to Eternal Life & God

Calm the Mind & Mind the Heart.

Bad days aren’t what they used to be; I can always sense when a truly good day—or even a major breakthrough—is approaching because the attacks from Satan and his demonic forces intensify right beforehand. It’s like a spiritual weather forecast: the heavier the barrage, the closer the victory and blessing. These assaults rarely come head-on anymore; instead, they target others around me to reach me indirectly, which is precisely why there was such fierce resistance when I tried to step off the control grid—Satan relies on that grid to stir upset, division, and dependency, turning everyday choices like online shopping into traps where nothing truly arrives as promised, and the fine print feels like a final signature in blood, echoing that the wages of sin is death.

Yet signs of impending breakthrough only draw fiercer opposition, just as proof of God’s active work in someone’s life provokes reaction—many pains precede many gains. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world; I’ve witnessed God’s ultimate win, and I’ve even been shown glimpses of my own celebration in it. The prize? I won through love, and more love is the reward that keeps unfolding.

Strangely, the relentless attention from so many attacks has become almost flattering—it highlights the strength, truth, and love I’ve found in God, drawing me deeper into falling in love with Jesus, cleansing my mind, body, and soul, fortifying my heart, and fueling real personal growth. In the early stages they stole my home and inflicted the most brutal wounds, leaving me with nothing material, yet the only things I still possess—and the only things I now strive to give away freely—are love and guidance toward the good grazing found in Jesus. God’s Word is my weapon, His light automatically fades all darkness, and my love, rooted in His, overcomes every bad way and shadowed scheme; there are no lies that can stand in the presence of truth.

In Christian understanding, these intensified spiritual warfare attacks—often aimed at faith, relationships, or purpose—are not marks of defeat but clear indicators of being on the right path, where the enemy desperately tries to discourage or derail someone on the verge of fulfilling a divine calling or receiving a significant blessing. Scripture reframes such trials as opportunities to build perseverance, mature character, and unshakeable faith (James 1:2-3; 1 Peter 4:12-13), proof that God is powerfully at work and that one’s spiritual influence carries real weight. Believers are called to stand firm in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-18), wield the Word as Jesus did—“It is written”—and meet opposition with unceasing prayer and worship, knowing that while attacks may surge, they are temporary and often the prelude to even greater restoration, healing, and victory through the love that casts out all fear.

Psalm 138
Of David.
I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
I will bow down toward your holy temple
and will praise your name
for your unfailing love and your faithfulness,
for you have so exalted your solemn decree
that it surpasses your fame.
When I called, you answered me;
you greatly emboldened me.

May all the kings of the earth praise you, Lord,
when they hear what you have decreed.
May they sing of the ways of the Lord,
for the glory of the Lord is great.
Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;
though lofty, he sees them from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life.
You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes;
with your right hand you save me.
The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Proverbs 14:30-32
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.

Psalm 16:7-8
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

2 Timothy 1:7
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

1 Peter 5
To the Elders and the Flock
To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Final Greetings
With the help of Silas, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.

She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark. Greet one another with a kiss of love.

Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Acts 28
Paul Ashore on Malta
Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta. The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold.

Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand.

When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.”

But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.

The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead; but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.

There was an estate nearby that belonged to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us to his home and showed us generous hospitality for three days.

His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him.

When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured.

They honored us in many ways; and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed.

Paul’s Arrival at Rome

After three months we put out to sea in a ship that had wintered in the island — it was an Alexandrian ship with the figurehead of the twin gods Castor and Pollux.

We put in at Syracuse and stayed there three days.

From there we set sail and arrived at Rhegium. The next day the south wind came up, and on the following day we reached Puteoli.

There we found some brothers and sisters who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came to Rome.

The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. At the sight of these people Paul thanked God and was encouraged.

When we got to Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with a soldier to guard him.

Paul Preaches at Rome Under Guard

Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders. When they had assembled, Paul said to them: “My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.

They examined me and wanted to release me, because I was not guilty of any crime deserving death.

The Jews objected, so I was compelled to make an appeal to Caesar. I certainly did not intend to bring any charge against my own people.

For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain.”

They replied, “We have not received any letters from Judea concerning you, and none of our people who have come from there has reported or said anything bad about you.

But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect.”

They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.

Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.

They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet:

“‘Go to this people and say,
“You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.”

For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’

“Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!”

For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.

He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ — with all boldness and without hindrance!
